PRESENTATION EVENING

We had a most pleasant evening at Palmerston Bowling Club on 21 October when we held our annual presentation of trophies won during the course of this summer's bowling season. President David thanked everyone for coming and after a vey hearty dinner, he launched into the presentations. Nearly everyone who had won a trophy or runner-up prize was present which is most gratifying. Many thanks to Daisy and Keith (who acted as Master of Ceremonies) who had organised the evening so well and also to all the other people who had been involved in making the evening a success. Captain Eric proposed a toast to the winners and John, Club Champion, responded on behalf of the winners. After the presentations, we had some dancing including some of David's special barn dance routines which at times had the spectators in fits of laughter.
