Congratulations to the Ladies A League who, with a game in hand, have won the league for the fourth time in succession. What an achievement!

Yesterday, the area final of the Ladies' County Competition for the Thornbery Trophy was held on the neutral ground of Bridgemary when our two rinks of ladies were playing against Milton Park. It was a nail biting match for the spectators as well as the players, as Caroline's rink were trailing for a considerable time before pulling out all the stops and both Elaine's and Caroline's rinks won. They will now play at Banister Park Bowling Club on Monday in the semi-finals, then finals (hopefully). Good luck to all of you.
